December 2012

What a month November was! We distributed over 50 turkeys, had our first CSA distribution and recovered from the Nor'easter that was right on the heels of Hurricane Sandy!

We also had a great article written by the National Young Farmers Coalition about our turkeys. If you didn't catch it on our facebook page, click here to check it out!

We don't have much happening on the farm these days, but below you'll find information about where to find us during December.

December Markets

We are thrilled to participate in some holiday farmers markets this month!

December 15: Carlisle Farmers Market Winter Fair from 10am-2pm. This market is held in the Unitarian Church in Carlisle, located at 27 School St, Carlisle, MA. We look forward to seeing many of our regular customers there!

Finally, we will continue being at Eastleigh Farm on Friday afternoons from 2pm-6pm.
Friday, December 14th (CSA pickup!)
Friday, December 21st

Their address is 1062 Edmands Rd, Framingham, MA and we are located in their farm store.

Looking Ahead to January

Winter is a wonderful time on the farm and we're actually enjoying the shorter days and colder weather. It means a chance to rest and reflect on the year and begin planning for the spring.

We'll have eggs all winter from our hardy Rhode Island Red hens and we still have pork, lamb, chicken and goat in stock.

Look for our January newsletter for information about what winter markets we'll be participating in!

Happy Holidays!
